Collaborating in the
Systematic Rebuilding of Haiti
LCWR president-elect Pat Farrell, OSF represented LCWR at a meeting in Miami in September 2010 aimed at further developing plans for systematic rebuilding and recovery efforts in Haiti. The meeting brought together key ecclesial collaborators --including bishops from Haiti and other Caribbean countries, Haitian religious, and leaders of the US Conference of Major Superiors of Men -- in order to build a common approach to financing and collaboration in the rebuilding work of the church and to strengthen partner relationships and solidarity, commitment, and collaboration in responding to the needs of the church in Haiti.
