The Leadership Conference of Women Religious offers our prayerful support to all those whose lives have been touched by suffering from the terror attacks in Paris. We grieve with Parisians, the people of France, other nations, and those in our own country whose loved ones lost their lives or were injured in this act of violence. We stand in solidarity with all throughout the global community who devote themselves to working for peace among peoples and nations. As the days ahead unfold our members will remain united in prayer for all whose lives are marked by this tragic event and for those who must discern a way forward in response to this situation.
This tragic event makes us all the more conscious of those throughout the world who suffer from the results of terrorism. We pray with people of all faiths who yearn for peace and work for its realization.
