Working for a more just and truly peaceful world is an integral component of LCWR's mission and vision. We claim the moral imperative of the Gospel and pledge our collective voice, resources, and power in solidarity with others to care for our common home; dismantle racism and white supremacy; end human trafficking; ensure justice for immigrants; heal our democracy; promote economic justice; and foster nonviolence and just peace as a way of life.
Action on behalf of justice and participation in the transformation of the world fully appear to us as a constitutive dimension of the preaching of the Gospel, or, in other words, of the Church's mission for the redemption of the human race and its liberation from every oppressive situation.
